This year our multicultural fair was the most
successful one to date.
All nine cultures did their best to bring to
life the traditions, history and food of their country. I must admit I was
impressed by each and every one of the groups. These 9th graders have
turned out to be an amazing group of students. Their English was impeccable.
Their knowledge and preparation left no room for doubt that they were ready for
anything.
The human statues were for me the best part of
most groups. Seeing these students dress up as a famous character and come to
life as I walked by to explain who they were and their importance was
extraordinary.
The decoration was perfect. The ambient as we
walked in transported us to the country and even their accents brought a unique
style.
I congratulate each and every one of our 9th
graders for this amazing job. It was tiring and a full day’s work with little
to no time for a break, but in the end it was worth it.
Este año nuestra Feria Cultural fue la más exitosa hasta
la fecha.
Las nueve culturas hicieron lo mejor para darle vida a
sus tradiciones, historia y comida de cada una de sus países. Tengo que
admitir, que cada uno de los grupos me sorprendió. Los alumnos de 9no grado han
resultado ser un grupo extraordinario de estudiantes. Con su impecable inglés, su conocimiento y preparación, no deja duda
que estaban preparados para cualquier cosa.
Las estatuas humanas fueron para mí la mejor parte de
todos los grupos. Ver a estos estudiantes disfrazarse como una figura histórica
y cobrar vida a medida que yo los pasaba para explicar su importancia fue
lindo.
La decoración estaba perfecta. El ambiente que se sentía en
cuanto uno entraba nos transportaba al país. Hasta sus acentos daban un toque único.
Felicito a cada uno de los alumnos de noveno grado por
esta increíble labor. Fue difícil y cansado un día completo de trabajo. No
tuvieron ni tiempo para un pequeño descanso. Pero al final valió la pena.
