The Mayan School juniors had a blast this month on their trip to Copan. This is an anual trip done by the 10th graders for education purposes only. Yet who says you can't have fun while learning. This trip was shock full of entertainment. Education trips are very important for the overall development of a student. It gives them an opportunity to learn from their own experiences and from the experience of others.
This year students didn't just learn academically but moral values as well. On one occasion all the boys were waiting for the girls with a flower for each one and then continued to serve them dinner while the girls waited patiently at their tables. We congratulate the boys for being perfect gentlemen this year.
